An organic, light-bodied red wine from the Fronton appellation in Southwest France. Crafted from 100% Négrette, the region’s signature native grape, it undergoes traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks to emphasize fresh fruit flavors. The expressive profile features distinct aromas of wild raspberry, red currant, and black pepper, complemented by the variety's signature floral notes of peony and violet.

Distributor's Notes:

"Vignobles Arbeau was started in 1878, when Anne's great-great-grandmother purchased the estate. In 1936, the Arbeau family purchased 40 hectares of vines which they used to sell their wine in bulk until they could afford to bottle and label their own wine. The estate is now 55 hectares and they produce 2 million bottles per year. About 50% of the estate is planted with Negrette and the remaining vines are a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, and Fer Servadou. The Arbeau family practices sustainable farming and hopes to gain organic certification in the near future. They use native yeasts and there is no filtration."
