"From the Irpinia region of Campania where the soils are so plentiful that anything will grow well, lucky for us, the focus has shifted to vineyards. The Falanghina grape seems to soak up the Mediterranean air with herbal aromas and hints of salty acidity/minerality. A lees quality adds to the weight of the wine with aromas of tangerine skins and Moroccan spices. Not as lean and racy as whites from the north, but the grape has a quality that demands seafood."
