Tasting Notes: The botanicals complement the slightly sweet notes and the round mouthfeel lead to spicy juniper and notes of lemon tart on the finish.

Wine Enthusiast 90 points - Made with 10 internationally sourced botanicals-Seville orange peel, Italian orris root, et al.-this gin rings with plenty of juniper and licorice upfront, followed by lavender and citrus peel. Finishes smooth and mellow..Kara Newman, August/2015
Ultimate Beverage Challenge 94 points - (UB Collection,Finalist)- Beautifully fragrant and floral on the nose with waves of juniper and citrus fruits shining through. The palate is decidedly dry while generous with layers of fruit, juniper, and dried spices..March/2015
In 2009, Sipsmith was launched by long-time industry insiders, Sam Galsworthy and Fairfax Hall. The pair teamed up with master distiller Jared Brown to launch Sipsmith, a small-batch artisanal distillery. Sipsmith was the first copper-pot based distillery to start up in London in over 200 years. Germany's oldest still producer, Christian Carl custom-designed Sipsmith's cooper still - dubbed Prudence. The distillery is located in Hammersmith in the former office of the late Michael Jackson (noted whisky and beer writer, not Moonwalker), who passed away in 2007. The gin is made using the one-shot method, a small-batch approach in which only 400 bottles are produced at a time, and the gin is solely composed of the heart of the run. Once watered down, it is bottled at 41.6% ABV and each bottle is batch numbered. The Sipsmith name is a tongue-in-cheek reference inspired by founder Fairfax's father - a well-known silversmith in the UK - in that Sam, Fairfax and Jared a re sipsmiths instead of silversmiths.
(83.2°) A blend of ten classic gin botanicals that include Orris root, lemon peel, ground almond and juniper, master distiller Jared Brown includes licorice root to soften the tannins of the other botanicals and coriander seed and angelica root which lend traditional notes associated with London dry gin.
We use ten carefully selected botanicals from around the globe to make our London Dry Gin. Macedonian juniper berries, Bulgarian coriander seed, French angelica root, Spanish liquorice root, Italian orris root, Spanish ground almond, Chinese cassia bark, Madagascan cinnamon, Sevillian orange peel and Spanish lemon peel.
