A beautifully elegant, single-vineyard Pinot Noir from Austria's Weinviertel region. Grown in the premium Ried Galgenberg site, this cool-climate red wine reveals delicate aromas of wild strawberries, sour cherries, and fine forest floor notes. The palate is light-bodied yet remarkably complex, offering a silky texture, subtle earthy spices, and a bright, refreshing acidity that carries into a long, clean finish.
Distributor's Notes:
"Gruber Roschitz is a small family winery working naturally in both the vineyard and the cellar. A collaboration of three siblings: Ewald in the cellar, Christian in the vineyard and Maria managing the daily aspects of the winery. Their philosophy of clean microbiology in the vineyard results in ripe clean fruit with stellar phenolic ripeness and lower sugar levels. Minimal intervention during winemaking means less sulphur use and results in wines with significant character, expression and longevity without losing varietal typicity."
