"Made in Michoacan, this blends fresh sugarcane juice (guarapo) with traditional Mexican unrefined cane sugar—piloncillo—before aging for five years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. The result is a luscious and richly layered spirit. Aromas of caramelized sugar, warm cinnamon bun, and vanilla bean mingle with nuances of earthy grasses, ripe raisin, tropical fruits, and a subtle green pepper brightness. On the palate, it’s remarkably unctuous—bold caramel and cake frosting take center stage, framed by fiery black pepper spice and gentle oak tannins. Bottled at 54.2% abv."
