This Blair Athol was distilled back in 2006. It’s spent a total of twelve years in cask, including a finishing spell in Bordeaux wine barriques, before being bottled by DS Tayman in 2021. The run is limited to just 383 bottles.

Nose: Sweet toffee, icing sugar, small gentle oak, and herbal mintiness on the back
Palate: Cinnamon oats with chunks of white chocolate, with a pinch of spicy red wine
Finish: A pinch of aniseed, wrapping into a long-lasting dram
