"This wine has a cherry-violet hue, with aromas of blackberries, cherries, and figs, especially dried and liqueur-like fruits. Dark chocolate and a persistent tobacco note are noticeable, giving way to dried fruits such as dates and walnuts. On the palate, ripe fruit notes are perceived, like compotes and jams of red berries and dates. It pairs perfectly with a good cut of meat, poultry such as duck or chicken, stews, a cold cuts pizza, or pasta arrabbiata."
