"J'adore this wine. It is as dry as dry can be, crisp and elegant. Most importantly, it is one of those rare wines that is able to tickle the masseter muscles in my cheeks." - Robbin
Originating from the "mont du milieu" this exceptional 1er cru offers a true testimony of Chablis. The "mont du milieu" (mountain in the middle) area was named after the separation between the old Champagne and Burgundy region. It is today one of the most thought after 1er Cru mainly due to its south/south-east exposition.
The "mont du milieu" vines from the Domaine du Chateau de Fleys were planted over 50 years ago, which consists of one of the oldest vines in the entire Chablis appellation. Following a hand harvest, the wine is aged for 12 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks. Only 7,000 bottles are available !
