From vines between 10-30 years old, hand-harvested followed by 14 day maceration in concrete vat, then aged in concrete vat between 6-12 months. Certified Organic.
Created in 1987 by Beatrice and Pascale, this 14 hectare domaine was one of the originals in the organic/biodynamic movement in the Loire. Soils are clay-limestone, gravel, and flint and grapes come primary from the area called Cravant-les-Coteaux west of Chinon. Wines are produced without the addition of yeast or enzymes. The entry level bottling is not hit with any SO2 at all.
