Coffee culture originated in the Levant and was present in the Middle East, long before the concept of coffee bars arrived in Vienna & Italy. Today, Israelis are devoted to coffee with quality coffee bars springing up all over the country. The new Jewish immigrants from Ethiopia and the Israeli Arab population have their own rituals for making & serving coffee, which is a symbol of hospitality. Premium liqueur, similar in style to Tia Maria or Kahlua. Made by a percolation of neutral spirit through ground coffee beans. Silky, smooth, with a toasty coffee flavor against a backdrop of vanilla. Medium bodied and well balanced.
Most usually used to make a Black Russian cocktail. Excellent when added to chocolate desserts. Serve on its own, or on the rocks (with ice). Popular also with Cola or as part of a chilled liqueur coffee
