Grape: 100% of the rare Chardonnay from the Montagne de Reims
Geography: Champagne, France
50% wine from 2017, 40% reserve wine from the Solera method, and 10% reserve wine aged in oak barrels.
Importer: Vom Boden
The wine is limpid, the color pale gold, the bubbles are fine and generous.
The nose is floral. Intertwining aromas of acacia and granny apple give it a nice impression of finesse and freshness.
The mouth is frank, fruity and greedy, with great elegant persistence due to Chardonnay de Villers-Marmery.
Quite simply as an aperitif.
The unanimous is the Bazin's entry-level cuvee, an assemblage of 50% 2017, 50% solera. Up to 50 year old vines in the Premier Cru Villers-Marmery. Crisp and light, a slight oxidative note and stirn chalky minerality. Perfect champagne for any occasion and appeasing to all!
