This expressive blend has a truly appealing nose. Fragrant notions of red fruit, alongside some citric touches, some floral nuances, a dash of dry earth, notes of undergrowth and dim toasted nuances over a seductive mineral background.
Bold and immensely vital, this Crianza red wine from Celler Frisach has a powerful entrance balanced by a tense acidity and a great freshness. Enticing notes of red berries over a mineral background and a panoply of Mediterranean herbs. Mild tannins and a very long, gently mineral finish.
The little-known Sang de Corb is a Spanish red wine produced in the southern Catalonian region of Terra Alta, a place with blisteringly hot summers and bitterly cold winters. This wine is made from a blend coming from a single estate, Dellà del Riu, comprised of vineyards over 65 years old. Certified organic, the estate is located in a pristine environment, and it is surrounded by almond, apple and olive-trees.
Produced by the exceedingly interesting Celler Frisach, a company with an uncompromising approach to winemaking, the wine was traditionally vinified in stainless steel tanks.
