After spending most of his life promoting other winemakers, Leonardo Bussoletti decided to start his own winery in his native Umbria. Located in southern Umbria about 45 minutes from Rome, Leonardo focuses on Trebbiano, Grechetto, and the oft-forgotten Ciliegiolo. Inspired by his passion for Burgundy, Bussoletti strives to create wines with great depth and elegance.
Inspired by the quality and style of the wines of Bourgogne, Leonardo’s aspiration is to make wines that represent the unique terroir of this idyllic area of southern Umbria, in the hills surrounding the magically preserved medieval town of Narni.
