3-month-ripening natural fermentation.
At least 12-month-storage in vitrified concrete barrels, to guarantee the evolution of the body of the wine.
To be stored in bottle for at least 3 months, to achieve a structured full-bodied wine.
Claudio Ancarani is a third generation winemaker working in the vineyard inherited from his grandfather. He was taught about the land by his his father who passed down methods that use no mechanization and respect the terroir. Claudio believes in non-interventionist winemaking, utilizing only indigenous varietals, organic grapes manually picked, native yeast, and no manipulation of any kind. His wines are aged in stainless or cement only. The soil in Santa Lucia is a combination of clay, lime & sand.
